Question by Ma Ray El: How much would a “auto body” shop normally charge to replace the carpet in a car?
Just ball Park I have been searching on the net for 20 min for the answer to that and it isn’t anywhere , on net that I can find anyway , however repeatedly I am told how cheep and easy that it is to do it your self ,but I am a chick and there is no way that I can even get the seats out on my own. Since I don’t want to get ripped off I wonder if anyone could give me an approximate price a “body shop ” would charge??

For one thing, body shops don’t do carpets as a regular part of their business.

Go to an upholstery shop and get a price, I’d imagine around $ 200-300 for the works, and that’s on the high side.
